Platinum vulcanised silicone has a low decomposition rate and is manufactured in our certified clean rooms to form the inner tube of the hose, which does not break down to any odour or taste to the solution medium, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, biomedical, cosmetic and food processing applications. The vulcanised, uniformly braided reinforced hose increases its resistance to pressure and the built-in spiral steel wire resists negative pressure, making it ideal for suction and discharge applications.

The silicone hose has undergone extensive physical, chemical and biological testing to meet FDA CFR 177.2600 standards (single-ply wire mesh silicone hose cannot be used in body grafting, continuous steam and high pressure applications)
