M & A inventory: global auto rubber parts supply in the first half of 2014

Continental announced on February 10 that it would invest 1.4 billion euros ($1.9 billion) to acquire Carlyle's veyance technology company to expand its business outside the automotive industry. Veyance, formerly affiliated with Goodyear tire rubber, was paid $1475 million by Carlyle Group in 2007.
